Personal Reflection of Week 9
My understanding to retailing and wholesaling
From one week study of retailing and wholesaling, I think retailing is a variate, it changes all the moment, and those changes are absolute, and the invariant is relative. The improvement of economy promotes the development of retailing, thus making the corresponding arrangement needed. The structure of products, the organization and some other issues are all included in the arrangement. Otherwise, it will be weeded out by the marketing competition. The convenience brought by retailing could not be neglected. For example, the small corners in a shopping mall, from the package to the products to other services issues, we have to say that retailing not only provides us with convenience, but also makes consumer feel comfortable. As I mentioned, retailing provides with services. As a matter of fact, retailing could be regarded as service. Retailing gives consideration to series of conditions.
In recent society, I think the definition of retailing is not only the basic definition written on our textbook, but also an obvious performance for the overwhelming development.
